At the heart of St. Regis Astana stands a mural that anchors the soul of the space — a hand-painted artwork created in collaboration with the Paris-based design studio Celine Alexandre. Part of the brand’s global tradition of commissioning bespoke masterpieces, the mural reflects the cultural richness of Kazakhstan through layered symbolism, metallic detailing, and a modern painterly voice.

Complementing this centrepiece, a series of extra-large murals were conceived and executed for the hotel’s grand lobby. These works don’t merely adorn — they articulate the identity of the building. Through scale, movement, and material expression, they offer guests a visual narrative of place and presence.
